New Built Green Geothermal Homes in Sooke

Vancouver Sun journalist, Suzanne Morphet, writes about the shape of the housing market and the range of opportunities for new home buyers.

“Most of the region’s large new housing
projects are taking shape west of Victoria, where land is cheaper and still plentiful. In Sooke, about a 45-minute drive from downtown Victoria, Totangi Properties is beginning its fifth phase of a development at Woodland Creek. The 29 new single-family homes begin at $384,900, including HST. Totangi’s Blair Robertson says there’s lots of competition; “but we are the only Built Green certified homes in Sooke with geoexchange heating, cooling and hot water, so we have the most energy efficient homes.”
